Whether you are joining us at Cardiff Metropolitan University for your first year of studies here, or if you are a returning student back for another new year, Library Services staff at Cyncoed and Llandaff campuses would like to extend you a warm welcome. Learning Centres

Welcome to the Learning Centres! These are great places to study with plant and light-filled comfy spaces, quiet and social areas, computers, printers, water coolers, physical journals and books to browse and borrow.

We offer a friendly welcome where you get professional IT and library support and guidance at our helpdesks, and access to digital and academic skills training, our Learning Centres are open to all.

First Steps...

So, you've been given your first reading list or assignment and need to get hold of study materials? Then start your journey with MetSearch!

MetSearch is Cardiff Met’s study resource search engine. Here you will find hundreds of thousands of academic resources that the library service has provided for your studies.

The best place to start when looking for resources is the reading list for your module or course – this will give you the titles of specific books, and journals you need to look at.
