Introduction to BrowZine

What is BrowZine?

Browzine, available as a mobile app or in your browser, allows you to access and browse e-journals from different publishers in one simple interface, keeping you up to date with scholarly information for your chosen subject area(s).

With BrowZine, you can:

  • Discover eJournals from leading respected publishers, searching by journal name and subject.
  • Build your own personalised Academic Bookshelf of ejournals and articles.
  • Save articles to read offline. Great for when there’s no wifi connection, save you using your mobile data!
  • Get alerts when new journal content is published.
  • Download references to reference management software, such as Zotero, RefWorks, EndNote, and others.
  • Share links to articles via email or social media.

BrowZine is not a replacement for MetSearch. It is one way of accessing our eJournals but is not designed for in-depth searching or research – use MetSearch for that. Also, Browzine does not include all our eJournals, content only goes back to 2005. The same content, plus older content, is also available in the Journal Search. For more information on MetSearch and the Journal Search, consult our informative guide. Alternatively, if you need help developing your search skills, check out our Search Skills guide or Contact Us.
