Cyncoed Learning Centre

At Cyncoed there are over 80 stations in the main IT suite situated on the 1st floor of B Block within the Learning Centre. We have a mixture of Windows and MacOS operating systems and Desktop and iMAC based stations.

  • 80+ Open Access Desktop PCs
  • 5 Apple iMAC PCs running MacOS
  • B1.01, 30 Stations (All Window desktop PCs - available when room is not being used for teaching)
  • B1.10, 22 Stations (All dual boot Apple iMac stations - available when room is not being used for teaching)
  • 4 Study Rooms with 1 Desktop PC in each room

Llandaff Learning Centre

At Llandaff there are around 100 stations in the main IT suite situated in the Learning Centre. We have a mixture of Windows and OSX operating systems and Desktop and iMAC based stations. 

We also have a number of stations in the 24-hour area for quick and easy access to the internet and email when 'on the fly' between lectures etc.

Library - First Floor and L1.04

  • 8 open access stations

Library - Second Floor
  • 2 Open Access Desktop PCs
  • 1 Walk-in Access Desktop PC

IT Suite

  • 100+ Open Access Desktop PCs
  • 10 Apple iMAC PCs (MacOS Only)
  • T1.07 - Smaller quiet study lab with 8 Desktop PCs
  • 2 Study Rooms with desktop PCs in each room
  • Group work area with comfortable seating
