The Special Collections were established to contain materials which relate to various areas of study at Cardiff Metropolitan University; initially Cardiff School of Art and Design (CSAD) and the work of its staff, students, and alumni and to the history of CSAD. The addition of the Fanthorpe Collection in 2019 through the School of Education & Social Policy has broadened engagement and interest. The materials will also be of interest to researchers and the wider community.
