If you’ve particularly enjoyed an item on your reading list, you can give it a like to let your lecturer know. You can also add comments to start a discussion. Click on the title of the item and click the Like button or type a comment into the Student Discussion box. Please note: This function will only appear if your lecturer has switched it on for the reading list.
You can use Leganto to keep track of what you have and haven’t read. Click on the tick to the right of an item to mark it as done:
Collection allows you to create your own collection of resources from reading lists or any other online source. To add an item from a reading list to your collection, click on the three dots next to an item and select Copy to my Collection.
To add items from MetSearch, go to Collection and click on the add items+ icon in the top right of the screen. You can then search library resources for items held in our collection and click
You can also add items to My Collection from websites. To do this, you will need to add the Cite It! button to your browser bookmarks. Click on your name in the top-right of the screen, click Cite It! and drag the purple button which appears in the pop-up screen to your bookmarks bar:
When you find a relevant item listed on a website, click on the Cite it! button and a pop-up will appear. You can then add it directly to Collection.
