CiteThemRight is Cardiff Met's preferred guide to referencing correctly, and is available as a book in the library and as a website accessed via the Databases A-Z. This act of acknowledging the work of others is sometimes called citation, citing or referencing; it is a fundamental skill for every student.

Cardiff Met has a main collection (most of what you'll see on the library shelves, or find online) but it also has smaller, specialist collections such as the Welsh Collection, or Clinical Practice Collection. It can also refer to very special types of books or journals or artistic works which might not be on the library shelves because they are precious or unique. These smaller collections are shelved independently of everything else.
