The Cardiff Met Library Document Delivery Service supplies items to other libraries both within the UK and abroad. We are part of the WHELF+ Reciprocal Borrowing Scheme in the UK and also part of the RapidILL global community.
It is preferred for the requesting library to contact the British Library Document Supply Centre as their first resort, but we will accept requests for the following types of material:

The agreement to loan an item and the subsequent length of a loan is at the discretion of our Academic Librarians. Material can be loaned for a period of 4 weeks.
Renewals may also be possible, but we reserve the right to recall the item at any time should it be required by one of our borrowers.
On occasion an item may be sent for use in the library only, however, this will made known at the time of the request.
If an item is damaged or lost on return the borrowing library is responsible for the full replacement costs.
We are a member of the British Library Document Supply Scheme and CONARLS and charge accordingly to other member libraries.
We are also members of the IFLA voucher scheme.
