Please note the following:
- The sample must be no longer than 500 words;
- Samples should be submitted to us via your Cardiff Met student account;
- We recommend selecting an extract from the main body of a longer piece of writing – in other words, avoid sending a sample taken from an introduction or conclusion;
- Attach your writing sample to an email as a Word doc;
- Include some indication of what your concerns are about your writing;
- Provide a brief explanation of the context of the writing – i.e. is it an essay? What is your year of study? What degree programme are you studying?
- We will only look at one sample per assessment;
- We reserve the right not to look at multiple submissions from the same student
